How to relieve cold & flu SYMPTOMS
A cold is something that can affect anyone at anytime and unfortunately there is no cure.1 This does not mean that the symptoms can’t be treated; there are many things that you can do to help relieve symptoms. These include:
· Drinking lots of fluids2
· Getting plenty of rest2
· Gargling salt water or drinking hot water with honey and lemon can help relieve a sore throat2
· Paracetamol and ibuprofen can help relieve any aches, pains, fevers or headaches.1
· Otrivin nasal sprays and drops aren't a cure for colds but they can help you alleviate a congested nose.3
