What is Xylometazoline?
Xylometazoline is the active ingredient found in Otrivin nasal spray.1,2 It rapidly relieves nasal congestion and can continue to work for up to ten hours.3 It acts directly on the blood vessels that line the nose.1 By working directly on the affected area, it can quickly reduce swelling in the nose, help drain the sinuses and relieve nasal congestion.1,2
